The Fountain Lake Sportsmen's Club is very active in the community
from our largest event Take A Kid Fishing held every June in conjunction with the MN DNR to our smaller events like Senior Fishing where we take residents of area Nursing care homes fishing for a morning/afternoon or ARC Fishing where we take the Freeborn County ARC fishing for an evening or Adopt a Highway on highway 13 the membership of the Fountain Lake Sportsmen's Club is here for the community.

The Fountain Lake Sportsmen's Club is there for the lakes
We work closely with the MN DNR,City of Albert Lea,The Lakes Foundation,The Shellrock River Watershed District During lake cleanup events and reclaimation projects you will see our members working hard to make our lakes better.

The Fountain Lake Sportsmen's Club is there for the fish AND the fishermen.
We restock the lakes with Northern Pike and Walleyes
Because of our restocking efforts and the cleanup efforts of the organizations we work with
Albert Lea Lake was ranked as one of the best Walleye lakes in MN by Minnesota Sportsman magazine
