During a recent Perch netting expedition DNR Fisheries, Waterville rep Scott Mackenthun was kind enough to show us some of the "other" catch...



Just in case you can't ID that fish You are looking at a 26" + Walleye from right here in Albert Lea Lake. Scott said that there were many like this and even bigger! The Perch were being netted for transportation and restocking of Pickerel Lake.The DNR will also be stocking Northern Pike fry in Pickerel,Walleye in Albert Lea Lake and doing a full survey of Albert Lea Lake this summer.
